Five Guys is my not so guilty pleasure ... I love their burgers... they feel like real food as opposed to some other chains. The Watford branch is nice and spacious, pretty sure the burgers are a little cheaper than their south London counterparts, but I haven’t checked properly. Service is smiley, friendly and helpful. Burger was spot on ( they normally are). Overall a great branch... the quality of service in most of their branches is really high, just really enjoyed this one. Possibly because I hadn’t had one for a few months!

Great burgers where you customise it yourself with what you would like in it. The large chips is huge and it justifies the price tag. The milkshake is delicious and a must. Whist it is quite expensive for burgers and fries (3 burgers, 1 large fries to share and 3 milkshakes came to just over 51), it was enjoyable. You can help yourself to free monkey nuts too. Recommended.

While Five Guys is widely known for its burgers, this time I decided to focus on a few other items, and I was not disappointed. I ordered the Cajun fries, and honestly, they were hands down the best fries I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked with a crisp outside and soft, fluffy inside, the Cajun seasoning added just the right amount of spice and flavour without overpowering the potato. The portion size was generous, and the taste was absolutely addictive. It’s rare to find fries that hit the mark so perfectly, but Five Guys nailed it. Alongside the fries, I tried two of their milkshakes – Mango and Strawberry. Both were incredibly thick and creamy, just the way a proper milkshake should be. The Mango shake had a rich, tropical flavour that felt refreshing and indulgent at the same time, while the Strawberry one was classic and sweet, with a natural fruitiness that didn’t taste artificial. The consistency was just right – thick enough to savour slowly, but smooth enough to enjoy every sip. The staff were friendly and the service was quick, despite it being a busy afternoon. The place was clean and had a good atmosphere – perfect for a casual bite or a quick treat. Overall, if you’re in Watford and craving something indulgent, Five Guys is definitely worth a visit. The Cajun fries alone are reason enough to return, and when paired with their rich, flavourful milkshakes, it makes for a truly satisfying meal. Highly recommended!
